Plakboek
2018, publicationAn edition of 50 sticker albums, made in collaboration with Javier Indesteege at LUCA School of Arts. The album is designed to hold a collection of 50 different stickers: 47 stickers featuring the work of students and 3 rare stickers that refer to iconic places on campus. The work in the collection is a selection from the many and diverse artistic practices of both Bachelor's and Master's of Visual Arts students. The album is made to keep the collected stickers safe and undamaged. Every collector can assemble their Plakboek in the way they choose; the stickers have no predefined order. This way every album becomes a unique piece.
Plakboek was succesfully launched with a launch party November 8th 2018 at Sint-Lucas Ghent. The albums and randomly assembled packs of 10 stickers were available for purchase at the cafetaria from November 2018 until January 2019. The collectors could only complete their collection by exchanging stickers with each other.
The project was realized with the support of LUCA School of Arts, Visual Arts campus Sint-Lucas Ghent. Special thanks to the students and teachers without whom this would not have been possible.
